1. How was the band founded?
Farewell, My Love originally came about when Caleb and Robby’s first band together ended because of different personal struggles and issues. A year later, I (ChadK) met Robby and we happened to share the same theatrical vision musically. We decided to use the name ‘Farewell, My Love’ because it fit the emotional and visual aspects of our project perfectly. After searching for a vocalist for months, we decided to bring Caleb into the mix. That’s when we started the writing for our debut EP. After another few months, we decided to bring Gary into the band, completing the current lineup.
2. Who inspired you guys?
Plenty of bands of many different genres have inspired us to play music but I think the real inspiration comes from our fans. We are obviously big fans of music & there are bands that have changed our lives & heavily inspired us to do what we do so we want more than anything to do that for our fans. We want to change lives. That is why we are a band.
3. Whats the craziest thing a fan has done?
I don't think anything a fan has done has ever been crazy, we're probably crazier than them haha
4. What song has the most meaning to you guys?
Each song on our the EP 'A DANCE YOU WON'T FORGET' contains it's own meaning. They all have a very special place in our heart.
5. Whats next for the group?
We are planning on doing some out of state shows as soon as possible. That's the focus right now. There are also some pretty big things coming up in the near future but it's somewhat of a surprise. Fans should definitely be keeping an eye on us.
6. Anything you wanna say to the fans of your band and of P.m.u?
We just want to say thank you to Pretty Messed Up for taking the time to interview us & thank you to all our our amazing fans, if it weren't for you our dreams wouldn't be coming true!
